Topic: Dance and Movement Therapy for Stress Relief

This workshop will provides participants with the opportunity to understand how music and dance may help to express their expression. In addition, it’s also will reduce stress and the tension. This workshop will be conducted by an experienced instructor. The activity involves engage in an empathetic creative process using music, body movement and dance to assist the integration of emotional, cognitive, physical, social and spiritual aspects of self.

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 4*

Topic : Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for Hypochondriasis and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Participant will be able to :

  • Identify the similarities and differences between Hypochondriasis (health anxiety) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

  • Understand the cognitive behavioural conceptualization of hypochondriasis.

  • Promote engagement and motivation for treatment

  • Carry out effective cognitive and behavioural assessment

  • Negotiate realistic treatment goals, such as the reduction of fear and the reduction of hypochondriacal maintaining behaviours, rather than the elimination of somatic symptoms.

  • Modify hypochondriacal thinking and anxiety maintaining behaviours.

  • Understand the cognitive behavioural conceptualization of OCD.

  • Negotiate realistic treatment goals, such as intolerance for uncertainty, and reducing compulsive behaviours

  • Modify OCD behaviours using exposure and response prevention

  • Support the patient in relapse prevention
